What if I was required, by law, to write here every day? What if it was mandatory for all citizens to share a little thought of the day with the rest of the world? What sorts of thoughts would be shared? There are so many bloggers that do this and more, but what about the other 90% of humans who keep to themselves and have no such online world? What kinds of thoughts would they be putting down? Just a thought.
I've spent the last few days of the week working entirely from home. If it wasn't for my daily hour of exercise, I think I'd go crazy. My days are divided between the isolated, quiet 'work' time at home from Monday-Friday, and the schedule-packed, running around town, partying time on the weekends. The division between the two is not so rigid, as it was only this Wednesday morning that I got up and began to work productively. Attempts to refocus took much of the first two days. If only there was an easy way to refocus and not let my mind wander so much.
Today our family sat down for dinner and it felt like a special occasion -- don't remember the last time we all casually sat down to eat dinner on a weekday. It was a nice treat -- highlight of the day, I'd say.
